PRACTICAL MATTERS
Fee Information
Transparent, straightforward, and in line with California's Good Faith Estimate requirements.
My current individual psychotherapy rate is $220.00 per hour, with longer sessions offered on a prorated basis. I offer both in-person and telehealth options. I also offer a limited number of reduced-fee slots. I don't accept insurance directly, but I'm able to provide you with an invoice for out-of-network provider reimbursement.
Notice to Clients & Prospective Clients
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don't have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare service, including psychotherapy.
Good Faith Estimate
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
Requesting One
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Save a copy or picture of your estimate.
